The European Youth Parliament (EYP) is an educational organisation reaching out to young people across Europe and encouraging them to have their say on the future of Europe.

Since its establishment in 1987 the EYP enabled thousands of young Europeans the exchange with other youngsters fromall over Europe and made the vision of a common Europe, intercultural cooperation and communication between nations come true.
As a result cultural barriers and prejudices were decreased, personal horizons were broadened and friendship across Europe were made.

Today the EYP is one of the largest European Platforms for political debate, intercultural encounters, political educational work and the exchange of ideas among young people in Europe.
The EYP consists of a network of 32 European organisations in which thousands of young people are active on a voluntary basis. The international umbrella organization is the European Youth Parliament HSS with its headquaters in Berlin.
